THANKS TO HELPERS
Tlfe Mayor and Mayoress have expressed, on behalf of the citizens, thanks for the splendid work carried out by all who assisted in the reception and entertainment of the American visitors, with particular thanks for the 4adies who managed the clubroom at the Town Hall and the V.M.C.A., for the work done under the direction of Mr. J. L. Hay. Mr. Norwood ib somewhat better, but is still under orders not to leave his house.
