DEATH UNDER ANAESTHETIC
(BI TIXEOIUPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, 27th August. At an inquest on the body of William James Edgar, a dairyman, of Spencerville, who died under an anaesthetic at a private hospital while an operation was in progress, the evidence showed that in consequence of the state of his heart particular cave was used, but he collapsed with dramatic suddenness. A verdict was returned that death was dun to heart failure, associated with valvular disca.se, and accelerated by anaesthesia.
