DAMAGES AWARDED TO WIDOW
AUCKLAND,. 27th August. Arising out of the death of William Campbell, a tramway motorman, through he'iag knocked down by a motor-oar driven b}- George Denton last November, the jury, at the Supreme Court to-day, awarded the widow £1200 damages against Denton. The amount is to Inclnde £750 already paid by the City Council.
