WANGANUI TRACK NOTES

(By Telegraph from "Vedette.") Heavy rain at Wanganui had made the tracks very holding for training operations yesterday morning. Dlaok Cat had Dubious for a mate in a gallop over five furlongs, which took lmin 11 4-s»ec.

L. O'DonnellV Kilbirnie colts from Glen Helen and Peronilla were sprinted half a mile, which took 54 2-ssec. The other colt by Kilbroney from Peroneal, had Hymill for a mate in a sprint over three furlongs. There was nothing between Kilceit and De Luxe in a spin over five furlongs in lmin 9sec on No. 2 grass. Wembley took 26 2-ssec» for the first two furlongs of a half mile, the time for the full distance being sSsec. Alaric and Kilburn were paired over five furlongs, but the latter was of little use to the chestnut, who finished full of running. The first quarter was left behind in 26 3-ssec, and the five furlongs in lmin 10 l-ssec. Attractive, Tangikai, and Mask were associated over six furlongs, and the last-named was well in the rear after they had gone a little way, with Attractive always going better than Tangikai. The time was lmin 27sec. Boyal Divorce strode out well over seven furlongs. The English horse jumped off where the going was heaviest, taking 59 2-ssec for the final half mile, the seven furlongs being left behind in lmin 43 3-Ssec. Merle hopped off at the half mile post, doing the initial quarter in 27 3-ssec, the four furlongs being covered in 55 4-ssec. Cooinda was worked over five furlongs, returning lmin 10 l-ssec. Strong work was done by Deluge, Motley, Fool's Paradise, Adavale, Anklet, Gaillard, end Ora's Delight.
