Johnston and C. J. Griffin beat W. T. Tilden and A. L. Wiener., 7-9, 6-1, 5-7, 6-4, 6-1. (Received 28tli August, 11 a.m.) CHESTNUT HILL, 27th August. In the semi-final G. L. Patterson and J. B. Hawkes (Australia) beat W. U. Johnston and C. J. Griffin (U.S.A.), 6-4, 6-3, 6-2.
