At Stratford to-day, a young man, Charles Frederick IMullex- Elliott, who was arrested ul Wuiroa, pleaded guilty to forging the name of' L. R. Curtis to a cheque, for £15, and uttering it to Goriiia Chhiba. He was couiniitiled for sentenca.
