A WAITING ATTITUDE.
SYDNEY, 26th August. A mass meeting of the Waterside Workers' Federation decided for the present not to take part in the seamen's dispute, but to watch developments. A proposal to strike a weekly levy to help the British seamen was overwhelmingly defeated.
