Priding itself on being an economising administration, tho Government was twitted by Mr. D. G. Sullivan (Avon) in the House of Representatives yesterday for not having scrapped some of tho obsolete machinery iv the railway workshops.
"What sort of administration is it that will maintain iv our workshops machinery getting on for 50 years old?" asked Mr. Sullivan.
