MORE .CANTERBURY CANDIDATES.
Mr. O. W. Forbes, Leader of the National Party, announces tnat Mr. J. Connolly, a farmer and sheep dealer of Ilakaia, has been officially selected as the party's candidate for the Ellesmere seat, which Sir Heaton Rhodes will not contest next election.
Tho party has selected as the candidate for Riccarton Mr. J. C. Free, who contested the Ellesmere seat against Sir Heaton Rhodes last election.
