LONDON TALLOW MARKET.
The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, has received the following advioe from Its London office, under date 28th August:— "Tallow: There Is » fair demand. Current quotations: Good mutton, 49s to 4Bs ed per cwt; good beef and mixed, 47s to 47s 6d per cwt; gut, 38s to 42s Bd per owt." Metsrs. Dalgety and Company, ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London home, under date of the 26th August: "560 calks of tallow offered; 200 sold. Since our last report, prices are par to 6d per cwt higher. Advance Is chiefly on prime mutton."
