BRISBANE WOOL SALES.
Measrm.' Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their Brisbane office, under date of tho 26th Instant:—"Wool Sales—Attendance of buyers Is large, competition animated; French buyers are the prlnolpal operators, with good support from Germany, Japan, and America! English buyers buying very little. As compared with last sale's closing rates best fleece skirtings par to 6 per cent, higher, finest qualities showing greatest rise; medium fleece iklrtlngs unchanged; good greasy lambs unchanged; burry and seedy skirting lambs, a change, if any, Is In favour of buyers) scoured wools, better demand. Prices generally 5 per cent, higher. Very ordinary selection—bulk offering showing strong quality. There was a good clearance."
