HOSPITALITY AT ROTORUA.

ROTORUA, This Day. Admiral Coontz and 200 of his officers arrived yesterday afternoon. After a welcome at the station lunch was taken at Tama Te Kapua, where they were received by the big Arawa - tribe in splendid Native fashion, with powhiri, pois, and hakaa. The Arawns presented a model canoe to the Admiral and a casket to lie hnnded to the President of the tfniled States, with the hope that it would be used to enclose a copy of a treaty for the peace of the world between Brituin and America.
Admiral Cnontz and Admiral Wylie responded in a most happy vein, thanking the Arawas for their splendid hospitality. The 1 proceedings were marked with great enthusiasm, and were witnessed by a great crowd of Natives <and visitors.
