1925 MOVIE BALL

In the advertising columns to-night will be found particulars of the 1935 movie ball, which will take place in the Town Hall on Wednesday, 23rd September. The decorating, catering 1, transport, publicity, and stunts committees report that the arrangements made to date promise to make the movie ball this year one of the most successful, functions held in Wellington. A list of'prizes has been arranged, and arrangements also made for onlookers to the gallery, and a special box plan will be opened for these seats a week before the ball. A handsome souvenir of the occasion is being prepared, and the function, which is in aid of the Karitane appeal, is under the patronage of His Excellency the Governor-General and Lady Alice Ferguason.
