■ SYDNEY This Day. The annual report of the Australian Jockey Club states that the atakes distributed during the financial year for fifteen days, including the value of the Sydney Cup, amounted to £150,129, the amount added by the club being £126,----325. Last year's total for fourteen days was £142,558. The stakes distributed at the Warwick Farm Meetings totalled £30,527, making a grand total of £180,----656. The amount passed through the totalisators at Eandwick on twenty-six days was £1,354,825, and at Warwick Farm in two days £35,277, a total of £1,390,102, as against a total of £1,----570,226 in twenty-eight days, all at Kandwick, last year. The State benefited by way of revenue to the extent of £125,109. The State also received, in respect of .admission tax and half the fees paid to the club by bookmakers, £68,051, making a grand total of £193,----160. The Federal Government's entertainment tax amounted to £14,530.
