The Wellington brokers held their fortnightly sale of hides and sheepskins yesterday, when they offered fair catalogues of sheepskins and hides to a good attendance of .buyers. Prices ruled firm for dry sheepskins, but last sale's prices for tttlteds were not forthcoming. Hides were In keen demand at well up to last sale'i -level of values, kip, cowhides, and calfskins,. being especially sought after. The range of prices Is osundor:— i Sheepskins.—Halfbred, MJd to 13} d; fine crossbred, lljd to 12Jd; mediunwioarae - crossbred, 9Jd to lljd; short to half wools, 7{d to 12} d; lambs, 9jd to 13d; dead and damaged crossbred, '7d to Hid; inferior and badly damaged, SJd to Bid; pelts, 4Jd to gjd; damp, salted, and green, 6a to 10s 9d; lambs, salted, is to 6s 2d.
