COMMANDER WORSLEY'S OPINION
(AUSTRALIAN-NEW ZVALAND CABLE ASSOCIATION^)
(Received 26th May, 1.30.p.m.)
LONDON, 25th May. Commander Frank Worsley, who was chief navigating officer of Sir Ernest Shackleton's ship, the Quest, states that it Captain Amundsen landed on a smooth floe, he might make a, long ski run to the Pole. Good news is still possible for the next five days, though the chances of so simple an outcome is by no means great. Lieutenant Algarsson still awaits the delivery of a dirigible, which Commander Worsley thinks might reach Spitsbergen to render aid to Amundsen in case of misfortune.
