Not_ all meal exported from. Sew Zealand is frozen. Some is sent alive to overseas markets. The Tahiti "to-day conies a lino of choice wethers for slaughtering on arrival at Papeete. They are shipped by Dalgety and Co. and are for the local market. Tne Tahitians themselves, however, are not great meat eaters, and the trade, thefore, is very limited.
