RIOTS IN NORTHERN ITALY
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.)
(RIUTER'S TELEGRAM.)
. LONDON, 24th May. The Rome correspondent of the "Daily Express" states that many were killed or wounded in war anniversary fights between Fascists and the residents of four northern towns. At Boarrapisana there was one death, and the conflict was renewed at the victim's funeral, where an unsympathetic shopkeeper killed a Fascist. Fascists then killed the shopkeeper and his brother. The Socialist headquarters and a theatre were later set on fire.
