MELBOURNE, 25th May. Lord Apsley, the "Morning Post" representative who has been working in the country in _ disguise, formerly held a private Parliamentary secretaryship in the Department of Overseas Trade in London, and is deeply interested in immigration matters. He is taking the opportunity of his present visit to test in a practical manner the opportunities for_ immigrants. He will shortly pay a visit to North-Western Australia, to spy out the chances for immigration and settlement there.
