PRINCE OF WALES RE-NAMED.

CAPETOWN, 22nd May. The Prince of Wales was welcomed at Umtota by a great crowd of natives. The paramount chief, Tembus, on behalf of all the Bantu people, conferred on him the title of ''The Shining Sun," and also presented him with six oxen with broken horns as a token of complete submission.
The Prince -wore the brilliant scarlet uniform of the Welsh Guards, which greatly delighted and impressed the natives.
