KARORI DEFEAT WAKATU.
The Karori-Wakatu gairie provided an interesting display at Karori Park. On their home ground, tho Blacks were a hard combination to beat, and it was to the credit of the Wakatu goal-keeper, Johansen, that the score was not considerably higher. J. Watchman operfed Karori's scoring account soon after the commencement of play with a successful dribble from the half-way line. Karori 1, Wakatu 0. Vaughan added another goal for the Blacks soon after as the_ result of a heady shot from a melee in frpnt of Wakatu's goal. Karori 2, Wakatu 0. King, who was playing a _great game for Karori on the right wing, broug?«.the score up to 3—o. He also scored another goal just after halftime.' Karori 4, Wakatu 0. There was no further score. Kilmister was a prominent player for Karori. Mr. A. Roxburgh was referee.
