THE MANUKA DISPUTE
A. largely-attended meeting was held in the Communist Hall last ovenin<* in connection with the Manuka dispute \n address was given by Mr. N. Lyons! and at the conclusion the following motion was carried:-" This meeting condemns the action of the Union Steam Ship Company;in tying up the Manuka, and victimising the crew because of their stand for better conditions, and calls upon all organised labour to support them in their trouble.
