PORT NICHOLSON BAND.
It would be difficult to offer a more attractive programme for to-morrow night than that announced for presentation in the Grand Opera House by the Port Nicholson Band and the principals of the New English Musical Comedy Co (Z the cFourtesy of J. C. Williamson, Jjta.). With two such excellent combinations an excellent concert shouud ■eventuate. Artists to appear will include Miss Marie Burke, the Englilh musical comedy artist, who will also be heard in association with Mr. Noel Allan ?<aVr'. 1' S!S g the P°Pular duet from Sybil, "The Letter Song." Miss • Mane La Varre, another artist of outstanding merit, will sing "Where Have You Been?" Mr. Noel Allan will sin<* A Request." Mr. Chas. Zoli, whose versatility has brought him to the front rank, will also be heard in a number from his repertoire. Mr. Herbert Walton will recite an item specially written for him by Mr. Renn Miller, entitled "Drought." An item that should tittract much interest will be the cornet solo by Mr. W. Stevenson, one of Australia's foremost cornettists, who will play the famous solo "Zelda." Mr. Frank Crowther will be the accompanist. The band items have been carefully selected, and will include, by requestthe ever-popular Handel's "Hallelujah Chorus ' and other numbers.
