He outlined the history of Australia, and the gradual development of the most cordial relationship between Australia aud Britain. Ho strongly stressed the mutual friendship of Australia and America, and said that America and Australia, were both young countries, and they had been formed and moulded by the pioneer blood of a common ancestry.
