The "Daily Mail's" Tangier correspon. dent states that General de Chamberun launched an offensive at Taounat, where the Riffs were concentrating, and cut the Fez railway, the main • artery between Algeria and Morocco. Franco-Spanish negotiations will probably result in a combined sea, land, and air attack on Abd-el-Krim's headquarters. ■
