MOTOR-SHIP LIMERICK.

By June nest another ship of the internal combustion type will be ready for the New Zealand trade, writes "The Post's" London correspondent. This is the Union Steam Ship Company's Limerick which is being built at Messrs. Jjiamilton s yards at Port Glasgow. The Limerick is very much the same in tonnage and capacity as the- New Zraland shipping Company's new vessel'Ton»anro which is at present on the New Zealand coast. She will have twin screws, and the engines will be of the same make as those of the Aoran^i Where the Aoninjri has four sets however, the Limerick will have only two sets. The Diesel engines are being built by Messrs. John Brown and Co.. of Uydebanfc, and engineers of the shipping company are assisting in the assembly of the machinery, so as to be familiar with •their charge when the vessel sails for New Zealand.
