Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house, under date 21st May:-"Lamb: J,ew Zealand prime crossbred lamb. Canterbury heavy IOJd, light 12d; North Island heavy io}d. ight lUd. Demand runs principally on lißht weights; market weak. Mutton: New Zealand prime crossbred mutton. Canterbury heavy 6d, lißht Bjd; North Island heavy SM, light BJd. Demand for New Zealand mutton runs principally on light weights; market weaker. Beef: New Zealand prime px beef hinds sd, fores 3Jd. Poor demand for New Zealand beef; market weaker. Australian frozen meat not quoted."
