A STRANGE ACT
A strange occurrence is reported from Brooklyn. It i s stated that about 7.30 o'clock on Tuesday "morning a man knocked at the front door of a residence in Todman street. The lady of the house heard the knocking, and when she went to answer it saw a man standing there, who said nothing, but threw some pepper into her face, and then bolted. The police are investigating.
