STATEMENTiBY PRIME MINISTER.
When the statement, reported in the '"New Zealand Herald," that Cabinet has already decided to recommend Mr. Coatea to the caucus of the Reform .-party was submitted to the Prime Mm Jster (the Hon. Sir Francis Bell) this afternoon,. Sir Francis replied that Cabinet intended .to consult the party not to nominate anybody. Cabinet was'leaving the decision regarding the leadership to the party. ■;. .-' - t .
