"WILDFLOWER"-TO NIGHT.

According to Sydney contemporaries "Wildflower," the new play that the J. C. Williamson directors will present at the Opera House this evening, is a really brilliant musical comedy romance, With Miss Marie Burke as the girl who has to stay sweet-tempered to win a fortune. That this brilliant- entertainment sparkles with real fund, that there aro many amazing dances and irresistible song numbers that everybody wants to sing, that the costumes are distracting in their beauty and quantity, and that the scenic display resembles a Eeries of pictures of Turncresque design and effect. All this excellence is. to be dominated by what appears to be an exceptionally .able cast. Miss Marie Burke, an English light opera artist of high reputation, will make her first appearance here. She will play Nina, a role in which sho was particularly successful in London. As astonishing dancing specialty is given by the Casino Brothers and their beautiful lady partner Stoneburn. An augmented orchestra will he under the able conductorship of Mr. Cass Downing, and the stage management is under the direction of Mr. Frank White. There will ba a matinee on Saturday afternoon.
