PARAMOUNT THEATRE.
Art overflowing house was thrilled with "Love and 'Sacrifice," in the 1925 production of \V, D. Griffith, at the Paramount, Theatre last Saturday night. The audience was amazed at the masterly way in -which the plot of tins epic had been..-woven," ■'■with, its .many dainty touches of pathos, its dramatic moments with its little rills of comedy, sparkling throughout, all-well measured and well balanced. Critics cannot fail to recognise the masterly-touches of a master mind and the creative brain of a great producer. In a picture the staff andcompany is what a producer is. Respect, confidence, and belief in him make them efficient. David Wark Griffith has earned all these, and in earning has been able to produce a stupendous result. The box plan for this production is at the Utility, next to the theatre.
