■WESLEY LOSE TO V.M.C.A.
The meeting of V.M.C.A. and Wesley on the new ground at Kilbirnie Park produced a fairly even game, and the VMC A. indicated the respective merits of tho two teams on the day's play. On both sides there were players who were impressive both in attack and de fence. Wesley were first to score, Stokes netting a. good goal half way through the first spell from a spirited forward rash .Y.jM.UA. failea to open up their ac count until the second half, when Anderson and Steptoe each beat the Weslev goalie with two nicely-timed shots. Mr H. Thomas earned the whistle.
