ART EXHIBITION
The exhibition in the Art Gallery of the work of the distinguished New Zealand woman painter, Mrs*. Sherwood, has attracted a numerous attendance of interested visitors. Three of Mrs. Sherwood's pictures have been purchased by the trustees of-the National Art Gallery in Sydney, and the Council of the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts lias been fortunate in securing another of Mrs., Sherwoods' important works for the permanent gallery. By special request the exhibition will be open to-night, and will continue to be open daily for: a few days.
