PRAGUE, 18th March,

A Czecho-Slovakian military aeroplane observing a- German balloon over Pilsen gave chase. The balloon, owing to a defect, was compelled to descend,- when it was found that the occupants included a Germau major and the editor of a newspaper with photographic apparatus. The Germans were arrested, and the newspapers arc excitedly commenting on the incident.

Pilsen, in Bohemia, is the home of the lager-beer industry.
