ANNUAL MEETING OF KARORI CLUB.

The annual meeting of the Karori Hockey Qub was held on Tuesday in the Karori Council Chambers. Mr. B. G-. H. Burn presided over a large attendance. " ■ ■

Whithair..: The annual report stated' that a senior, a junior, and a third grade team had been entered for the. club competitions. The seniors gained third place, the juniors were runners-up for the third I year in succession, and the third grade team were also runners-up' in their division for tHe third time in succession. ,The club obtained second place m the: points championship. Purvis;. management committee, Messrs. K. Perrin, P. Spiers, C.Moore, J. Watchman, B. Hull, W. Pur- ; vis, R. Watchman; selection committee, Messrs. K. Perrin, C. Moore, and W. It was decided to enter an intermediate team this year, as there were plenty of young players available. The secretary read letters of sympathy, in reference to the loss of the club's secretary, from ths Wakatu and Petone Clubs, and was instructed to write thanking these clubs for their messages. Several new members were nominated.
