(Received 16th January, 2 p.m.) y LONDON, 15th January. _ Percy Gibson, a prominent Communist, reappeared at Newcastle on.a further charge of possessing explosives with intent to v endanger life. He pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial. Percy Gibson, a leading Communist, was .charged .at Newcastle with being in possession of explosives. The prosecution stated. that he had a secret room, where he told friends that he wished tot blow up the Town Hall, when the' City Council, was sitting,, and then the power, stations. When the city was in darkness, the Communists would loot shops. Much 'Communist literature advocating violence for political purposes was found m .his room; Gibson, when caught on the quay with the explosives, said that he intended to dump them in the river. He .was remanded. .
