IN AN AUCKLAND FACTORY.

AUCKLAND, This Day,

A fire broke out in the premises of G. B. Warman and Sons, cabinetmakers and upholsterers, in Hobson street, at 8 o'clock last night. Employees on the mnin floor saw smoke coming from the belting apertures in the floors, and almost immediately flames burst through the floors, and leapt up the brick walls to the ceiling, and spread to the main workshop and upholstery department on the second floor. By 10 o'clock- the brigade had the flames completely subdued. The timber' stocks in the basement, where the fire originated, were badly burned, but little damage appeared to have been dono to the plant and timber in the workshop.
