COMPLETELY DESTROYED

BUSINESS ON CASH BASIS

OPENINGS IN BALTIC FOR BPJ-

TISH TRADE,

(CNITZD PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT.)

(PUBLISHED IS THE TIMES.)

(Received Ist October, 9 a.m.)

LONDON, 30th September.

Mr. P. J. H. Hannon and Sir Philip Dawson, Conservative members of the House of Commons, have returned from a tour of the Baltic countries, on behalf of the industrial group. They state that everywhere they found immense openings for British trade. Regarding Russia, Mr. Hannon declared that the position is that not a single industrial or financal organisation in any of the countries bordering on Russia would give Russia onp. day's credit, and everything is on a strictly cash basis. Statesmen, bankers, and business men are unanimous in declaring that under the existing regime Russian credit has been completely destroyed.
