BOTH SIDES QUIET
BRITISH AIR MINISTER IN
MOSUL.
(REUTERS TELEGRAM.) (Received Ist October, noon.)
LONDON, 30th September. The situation in Irak appears to bo that Turkish troops are still within the boundary of the Mosul Vilayet and have burned villages, but no offensive has been taken by British aeroplanes since 24th September, except where the aeroplanes were first fired on. In the meantime both sides have established a line on which they are unlikely to clash. It is believed Lord Thomson, Minister of Air, is at Mosul.
