An old age pensioner named .Robert Colquhoun Clark, for making a false statement in the Pensions Court regarding his income, was fined £2.- He had an income of £136.'but represented that he had none. The Magistrals characterised the offence as a deliberate, fraud. He stated that no doubt there were many abuses of the provisions in regard to pensions.
