YOUNG CITIZENS' LEAGUE
A recent meeting of the Wellington branch of the Young Citizens' Lea<Tie was well attended, Mr.'A. Stevenson being in the chair. The report of the special Committee concerning organisation and future activities was presented and adopted, with the proviso that it be not fully acted upon immediately, some of the activities to he postponed till the return of Mr. G. A. Troup. -The offer of the chairman to visit schools and endeavour to arrange for initiations was accepted with thanks. Mr. G. Mitchell placed his office at the. disposal of the executive of the league, .• with promise of help in the secretarial work. An executive committe was appointed, including Messrs. A. Stevenson, D. M'Laren, F. Bennett, S. H. Ferguson, and Miss M. C. Tonvpkins. Among- those present at the meeting were: Messrs. F. Bennett, W. J. Hoare, W. Johnson, S. H. Ferguson, B. C. Cull, D. M'Laren, Mesdames Andersen and Chatfield, Misses C. E. Kirk, M. C. Tompk>ns, E. R. Messenger, E. VFa-Hach, and W. Stevens.
