WANGANTJI, 30th September. _ The Wanganui Competitions were continued to-day. Miss Clayton (Wellington) won the mezzo soprano operatic solo with 160 points, 10 points ahead of the next competitor. Miss Palmer, also of Wellington, won the contralto sacred solo, with two points in hand, her total being 158 points. Miss Hazel Martin (Wellington) won the fancy dance, with 79 points, beating Miss Joyce Hayward (Feilding) by 3 points.
