HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE

The change of programme made at His Majesty's Theatre last evening proved.a popular one with the .largo audience. The new revue, "Don't Tell the Wife," presented by the Jim Gerald Revue Company, proved to be one of the most entertaining yet staged by that organisation, and it certainly pro-, vided the comedians with even greater opportunities than usual. There was some semblance of a plot, and the unfolding of this gave rise to many, highly amusing situations. In all Jim: Gerald was the outstanding figure, thei popular comedian being in his very besW form and levelling in many clever absurdities. From the remaining mem* bers of the company he received ex-t cellent support. Jim Gerald's sons"Millions of People," proved to be th« outstanding performance of the even* ing, and tiie ludicrous dance which fo^ lowed gave rise to a veritable storm of applause. Members of the b&llet wera seen m many attractive dances, but tha best of all was a moonlight fantasy, in which PoUy M'Laren appeared as prem. ieie. Tho vaudeville section of tha programme is a strong one. Marcus and DArma. appeared in a m Usica l Xv a T^u- nu uual and very suc"ssfui fin Pi^ £ E harmo!iy ™rk was very fine. Phil Bransby sang several chirfjr°J\ *he .Philniers the r clever slack wire act; Fred Webber C^hXf' ai ld P^'ed the P«no! and George Edwards and his company appeared in a clever sketch.
