KING'S THEATRE.
The South Pacific is the locality for a picture entitled ; " The Marriage Cheat," which is the main attraction, at the King's Theatre. En route from San irancisco to. Tahiti, a private steam yacht is carrying a gay party on a holiday tour, but the attractions of the owaer of the yacht do not appeal to his young wife, who, disgusted with the state of affairs on board, is hounded by the sneers oi her husband and' his guests to commit suicide. She is ultimately picked up far out at sea by the-natives of.the island, who take her ashore and give her shelter in Paul's house.. From then Paul's life changes, and he realises that in the woman who was washed asaore he had a helpmate invaluable to ins work. News of the white woman's appearance, on the island drifts. to civilisation, and the arrival of her husband brings about a climax in the story. The supports are excellent. " "
