The Miramar tournament will commence on Monday, and the championship will be decided on medal rounds. The present holder is Mrs. Slack (Cambridge), who "s playing at the Auckland tournament at piesent but is expected to defend her title at Miramar. The tournaments-will be the most representative' that have yet been held in Wellington. The competitors will include Mrs. Guy Williams (Wellington and Masterton), Mrs. Orbell (Otago), Miss E. Brown (Napier), Mrs. Collinson, Mrs. Siefert, Miss Siefert, and Mrs. M. Wilson (Manawatu), Mrs Cook (OtagO), Mrs. Kingscote (Chnstchurch), Mrs. Bussell Grace (Waff 5' *lisJL Cooper and Miss Culling (Auckland), Miss Lucas (Nelson), Misses Gambrill, Brandon, Bell, and Carter Miramar links will be thrown open to competitors on Thursday and Friday lext.
