YOUTHFUL HUSBAND IN COURT
(BI TELEURAI'B.—I'HCSS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, 29th Sept. David William Fisher, aged 18, pleaded guilty this morning to the theft of a bicyclo. He alleged that he had sold it to get food because his wife and child were starving. Fisher was further charged with having stolen, at Trentham, in December, 1923, the sum of £247, the property of James Tracey. The accused was remanded on both charges, bail being refused.
