DEFEATED NATIONS
SYSTEM OF ARMAMENT INSPECTION. . (REUTERS TELEGRAM.) (Received 29th September, noon.) GENEVA, 28th September. The Council of the League has agreed upon a plan for the investigation of the armaments of vanquished States by the League, to replace the system of interA.llied military control. The plan provides that the commission of investigation is to be composed of representatives of the nations which are members of the Council, and to include at least one neutral member and one representative of a bordering State, signatory to the peace treaties. Further, when examining any question relating to the investigations, the permanent advisory com,mission shall invite assessors representing the bordering countries to act.
