Thsre is every likelihood of the House of Representatives spending a busy day to-day. The first order of the day'is the second T reading of the Motor Vehicles Lill..- It .'members wish to discuss this 'measure.at tho present stage before the Bill goes to-the Select Committee which has yet to be set up to/hear evidence on it, there may be a lengthy debate. On the other hand, they may prefer to withhold expressing their opinions until after the Select, Committee has. reported It is possible that the second reading will be moved pro forma to allow of the ■Bill-going -to the Committee so soon as the latter has been set up; but that of course, will still, leave, the matter- open for^ discussion to-day if the House -ia inclined. The second order of the day is the Prevention of Crime (Borstal Institutions Establishment Bill)
