FAIR TO CLOUDY
.The report from the Meteorological Office to-day is that fair weather has ruled, though scattered showers -were reported this morning in several parts of the country, and the barometer has risen everywhere. Southerly breezes have prevailed, and these are likely to continue with a westerly tendency. The barometer is expected to rise slowly for a little while. Fair to cloudy weather is forecasted, and the night is likely to be very cold with frosts inland.
