Yesterday afternoon a remark of Mr. Witty's gave another opportunity I for a slight tilt by Mr. Peter Fraser." Mr. Witty claimed that a-proposaj of his had been adopted by. the" Public Accounts Committee in connection with the Mortgages Final Extension Bill, and not certain proposals of the Labour j Party.. '.'• A Labour member: "Come over here." "I am quite all right where I "am, thank you," replied Mr. Witty. . Mr. Fraser: "Where are you, George?" (Laughter.)
